Welcome to
Aesthetics at Cademuir
Doctor-led aesthetic treatments, with the time and care you would expect from The Cademuir Clinic.
We bring the same unhurried, medical-led care to aesthetics as we do to everything else at the clinic.
Every treatment begins with a free, one-to-one consultation, so that any decision is the right one for you. A £100 deposit will be taken to secure your booking; this goes towards treatment or refunded if no treatment post consultation.
Our approach is simple. We take the time to understand what matters to you, and we only ever recommend what is genuinely in your interest — natural, considered results, never overdone.
The Team
Your care is in the hands of our doctors, Anna and Ross. Every treatment is assessed, planned and carried out by a doctor, which means genuine medical reassurance at every step.
Dr Anna Hadden
MBChB DRCOG MRCGP
GMC 7130312
Dr Anna is a GP and aesthetics doctor with over fifteen years of experience across general practice, teaching, and clinical care.
Her approach to aesthetics is subtle and evidence-based, with a strong focus on anatomical precision, skin health, and long-term plans tailored to each patient. She works to enhance natural features rather than change them, the kind of result everyone notices, but no one can quite pinpoint, leaving patients refreshed, rested, and quietly confident.
Dr Ross Stewart
MRCGP, GMC 6157080
Ross founded The Cademuir Clinic as the Scottish Borders’ first private GP, bringing nearly twenty years of experience across all aspects of healthcare.
Services Offered
Every treatment starts with a free consultation. The prices below are a starting point; your consultation confirms exactly what you need.
Anti-wrinkle injections
Anti-wrinkle injections gently relax the muscles that create certain lines. Used carefully, they soften expression lines while keeping your face looking like you.
- Investment From £200
- Specialist areas (underarm sweating, jaw / grinding, neck) from £300.
Areas we treat:
- Forehead lines (frontalis) — the horizontal lines across the forehead.
- Frown lines (glabella) — the vertical “number 11” lines between the brows.
- Crow’s feet (orbicularis oculi) — the fine lines that fan out from the corners of the eyes.
- Bunny lines(nasalis) — the small creases across the top of the nose.
- Gummy smile — softening a smile that shows a lot of gum.
- Lip lines(orbicularis oris) — the fine vertical “barcode” lines above the top lip.
- Underarm sweating (hyperhidrosis) — calming overactive sweat glands under the arms.
- Neck bands (platysmal bands) — softening the vertical bands that can appear on the neck.
- Jaw & teeth grinding (masseter) — relaxing the jaw muscle to ease clenching and grinding, and slim a heavy jawline.
- Dimpled chin (mentalis) — smoothing an “orange-peel” or pebbled chin.
- Mouth Corners (DAO) — Gently lifts downturned corners for a more relaxed, rested look.
Dermal fillers
Dermal fillers restore volume and support where the face has lost it, and can gently refine shape and balance. The aim is always subtle — refreshed, not overdone.
- Investment From £300
Areas we treat:
- Lips — subtle definition, shape or hydration, tailored to you.
- Cheeks — restoring volume and natural contour.
- Chin — improving balance and profile.
- Nasolabial folds — softening the lines that run from the nose to the mouth.
- Marionette lines — softening the lines from the corners of the mouth down toward the chin.
Skin boosters & polynucleotides
Skin boosters and polynucleotides focus on the quality of your skin, rather than changing its shape or relaxing movement. They work gently beneath the surface to improve hydration, texture and firmness, for skin that looks healthier, fresher and more rested.
Results build gradually over a few weeks, so they always look natural.
- Investment £300 per session
- Course of three sessions £800
Skin boosters
Skin boosters are fine injections of hyaluronic acid, a substance your skin already makes to hold on to water. Unlike dermal filler, they are not used to add volume or change shape. Instead, they spread hydration evenly through the skin, helping it look plumper, smoother and more radiant.
What they can help with:
- Dry or dehydrated skin — skin that feels tight or looks tired, even with a good skincare routine.
- Dull, tired-looking skin — bringing back a healthy glow.
- Fine lines and crepey texture — softening fine lines on the face, neck and décolletage.
- Loss of firmness — helping skin feel more supple and elastic.
- Rough or uneven texture — for a smoother, more even surface.
- Neck, décolletage and hands — areas that often show dryness and fine lines first.
Polynucleotides
Polynucleotides are highly purified DNA fragments, usually sourced from salmon. They support your skin’s own repair processes, encouraging it to make more collagen and elastin — the proteins that keep skin firm and resilient. Rather than adding anything, they help your skin renew itself from within.
What they can help with:
- The under-eye area — fine lines, crepey skin and a tired look, in a delicate area where filler is not always the right choice.
- Thin or crepey skin — on the face, neck, décolletage and hands.
- Fine lines and loss of elasticity — helping skin look firmer and more resilient.
- Skin texture and scarring — including acne scarring.
- Sun-damaged skin — supporting skin that shows signs of ageing from sun exposure.

Many people benefit from both. At your free consultation, your doctor will recommend the treatment, or combination, that suits your skin.
Your course
A course of three sessions, spaced [2–4 weeks] apart, usually gives the best result. After that, a maintenance session every [4–6 months] helps keep your skin at its best.
Before you book
Polynucleotides are usually sourced from fish, so they may not be suitable if you have a fish or seafood allergy. We will go through this, along with your medical history, at your free consultation. Neither treatment is offered during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
What to expect
- Small raised marks at the injection points, which usually settle within a day or two.
- Some redness, tenderness or minor bruising.
- Results that continue to develop over the following weeks.
If you notice anything beyond this, such as increasing pain, swelling or redness, please call the clinic on 07399 689 389.
