A health check is a practical way to understand your current health, identify risk factors early, and create a clear plan for your future wellbeing.
At Cademuir Clinic, our health assessments are GP-led, thorough and personalised. They are designed for people who feel well and want reassurance, as well as those who have concerns about energy levels, sleep, stress, family history, cardiovascular risk, cancer risk, hormones, nutrition or general wellbeing.
Our approach is careful and clinically sensible. We do not believe in unnecessary testing for the sake of it. Instead, we combine a detailed consultation, physical examination, blood testing and selected investigations to give you meaningful information about your health.
A personal, GP-led approach
Every assessment includes time with an experienced GP to discuss your health in detail. We look at the full picture, including:
- Current symptoms or concerns
- Past medical history
- Family history
- Lifestyle and nutrition
- Sleep and energy levels
- Mental health and stress
- Cardiovascular risk
- Skin, joints, respiratory, gastrointestinal and general health
All patients have height, weight and blood pressure recorded, alongside a full clinical examination.
Blood testing included in every package
All Bronze, Silver and Gold assessments include either a Well Woman or Well Man blood screen.
This includes:
- Full blood count
- Kidney function
- Liver function
- Bone health profile
- Full lipid/cholesterol profile
- Diabetes screen
- Full thyroid panel

- Folate
- Active B12
- Full iron studies
